Valeso Kitchen Faucets – Single-Lever, Combination with Filter, Flexible, Stainless Steel or Brass

The most important component of any kitchen faucet is its body, as the quality of the materials directly affects the faucet’s durability. The coating also plays a crucial role, serving both decorative and protective functions. Some key features of Valeso kitchen faucets:

  • Manufacturing materials: The primary materials used for Valeso faucets are stainless steel of grade 304 or 201, as well as classic brass.
  • Coating: Polymer coating in the sink’s color; PVD coating (black, gold, copper, brass, etc.); chrome-plated (mirror-gloss surface); brushed stainless steel.

PVD coating is highly resistant to environmental influences and mechanical wear. Essentially, PVD surfaces are created through a galvanic deposition process on stainless steel or brass, which makes peeling off from the base nearly impossible without significant mechanical impact.

Control System and Mixing Mechanisms

Valeso kitchen faucets come with lever, valve, push-button, or touchless (sensor) controls.

  • Lever faucets are based on a ceramic cartridge, available in 25mm, 35mm, or 40mm body sizes. Classic models feature single-handle control, allowing easy adjustment of water temperature and pressure. Combination kitchen faucets may have an additional handle for controlling the flow of filtered water (some models can provide multiple types of purified water). In this case, the filtered water control may be operated using a valve (delivering only one type of filtered water) or a specialized cartridge that allows selecting different purification levels (for example, reverse osmosis water or mineralized osmosis water, etc.).
  • Valve (compression) kitchen faucets. Water pressure and temperature are adjusted by turning the corresponding handle, which rotates a valve mechanism. Valves can be equipped with ceramic discs or traditional rubber washers. These faucets are the simplest and are mainly found in the budget price segment.
  • Push-button controlled faucets. In this case, the water flow is activated by pressing a button. These mechanisms are commonly used for delivering filtered water from a combination faucet, which also features lever or sensor control for hot and cold water. The design includes a shut-off valve that either opens or stops the water flow with a repeated button press. Flow pressure adjustment is usually unnecessary in such systems, making them a simple and practical solution.
  • Valeso sensor kitchen faucets. These faucets have a combined control system. Specifically, water activation and parameter settings are done traditionally using a lever. Once the water flow parameters are set, the user can turn the water off and back on using the sensor.

Temperature Indication

Some Valeso kitchen sink faucets are equipped with a water temperature indicator. The simplest type of indication is light-based. Depending on the temperature, the water flow is illuminated in different colors: for example, blue for cold water, green for warm water, and red for hot water. More advanced models feature digital temperature indication, displaying the current water temperature on a digital screen. An interesting feature is that neither of these systems requires batteries or a power connection. Low-voltage electricity needed for the display or lighting is generated by the faucet itself using water flow. This system is also completely safe, as it does not produce hazardous currents or voltages.

Valeso Kitchen Faucets by Spout Type

  • Classic kitchen faucets with a swivel spout. These faucets typically have a tube-shaped spout attached to the faucet body with a swivel joint, allowing it to rotate in the desired direction. In combination faucets with a built-in filter connection, the spout contains two separate tubes—one for regular tap water and another for purified water.
  • Flexible faucets with a silicone spout on a stand. These models feature a silicone spout mounted on a dedicated stand. If necessary, the spout can be easily detached, allowing users to direct the water stream as needed. Some combination faucets also have an integrated tube in the stand for filtered water, while tap water is supplied only through the silicone spout.
  • Flexible faucets with a reflex spout. The Valeso catalog includes various types of flexible kitchen faucets, including reflex models. The key feature of this spout type is its flexibility with position locking. Unlike stand-mounted models, these faucets allow the spout to be positioned upwards or in any direction, where it stays in place. This is achieved through a system of springs inside the silicone sleeve, which creates friction to hold the spout in position.
  • Valeso kitchen faucets with a pull-out spout. The faucet spout is equipped with a long hose that runs through the faucet body and retracts behind the kitchen module. This design allows users to extend the spout to the desired length (e.g., up to one meter) for remote tasks. The hose retracts easily thanks to a built-in counterweight, which pulls it back into place (the counterweight is installed on the hose during setup and remains hidden inside the kitchen furniture).

Types of Aerators in Valeso Kitchen Faucets

When choosing a faucet, special attention should be paid to the type of aerator. Valeso kitchen faucets use different types of aerators, including classic, shower-function, and spray aerators. The mode switching on such aerators is usually controlled by a button on the spout, and less frequently by a rotating ring. It is also important to know that combination faucets with filtered water supply can have either two separate aerators (one for tap water and another for filtered water) or a combined aerator. In the combined aerator, the center is designed as a separate tube through which drinking water is supplied, while tap water flows through the space between the main body and the inner tube. In both cases, the water channels remain independent, preventing the mixing of tap and drinking water.

Valeso Combination Kitchen Faucets

One of the most practical solutions for users of drinking water filtration systems is a combination faucet, which integrates the functionality of a standard kitchen faucet and a drinking water tap. These models have two separate water circuits to completely prevent the mixing of tap and filtered water. Some models feature a special valve that allows users to choose between different types of purified water. For example, if purified water is needed for boiling food, the faucet can be set to bypass the mineralizer. If drinking water is required, adjusting the valve accordingly will provide mineralized purified water.
